TSX heads lower after 3 days of gains amid solid U.S. employment data

The S&P/TSX composite index lost 38.22 points to 12,496.69 while the TSX Venture Exchange slipped 1.72 points to 1,046.02. The Canadian dollar was up 0.36 of a cent to 98.94 cents after earlier running up to a two-month high of 99.15 cents US.
